A Small Double Buggy That's Easy to Push One-Handed and Carry Up and Down Stairs

This is the double stroller you need if you want a lightweight, easy-to-push one-handed stroller. It's also simple to carry up and down the stairs.

Weight

The weight of a double buggie will determine the ease of pushing. Typically, a light buggy is easier to lift and transport however, it may not have enough suspension to handle bumps and uneven terrain.

Be sure to check the specifications of each model before buying. Some double buggy from birth buggies come with an upper limit on the weight of the seats, while others have an overall frame limit. Some models fold with seats removed, making them smaller and lighter and compact, which is a great option when storage space is at a premium.

The tri-fold doubles are generally the lightest of models since only one hand is needed to lift the lower and back sections. Manoeuvrability

One of the most important factors to consider when choosing a small double buggy is its maneuverability, particularly how it is easy to move around with two children aboard. Some pushchairs are better than others such as the iCandy Orange's "cinema chair" (where the back is elevated).

This is where narrow tandem buggies and side-by-side designs can be useful. Buggies with this type of design can be a bit larger and may be difficult to navigate through doors.
